I installed this exact APK and definitely the improvement can be seen. The colours are more natural and Google Night Sight is great.

I've replaced it as my main camera app. OnePlus really should let Google time their camera software. hardware is solid. software leaves much to want

how come I don't feel that the GCam is that much better than the stock camera? it still looks blurry.... but night sight is good. another thing, I followed the tutorial, used the app and the it froze and wouldn't open again ... so I had to uninstall.... I installed the GCam before without the config file and I uninstalled it and downloaded the whole package again from this website .. but now, seems like it won't open on my phone. sigh.... oh well .. I will just bare with the stock cam app for now, I am sure OnePlus will keep updating their app to make it better.

Well, there is improvement compared to stock for sure, but if you look closer, that config is for Xiaomi Mi 9 :) Maybe there'll be better config for Oneplus 7 Pro, so I'm still waiting :)

it changes the color science and pulls in more details. i prefer it. but sometimes it changes the colors too much. also i have more access to different shots with the stock camera so i found myself switching back and forth based on the shot i need.

How would you go about adjusting the reds and the greens? in the camera app itself? Sorry; This is all new to me.

Any suggestions as to why when I double tap the black area for the config file, it won't come up? Installed it in the GCam/Configs directory. TIA

Since I installed Android 10, Gcam has stopped processing HDR+. I've tried different versions but no luck. If I take a picture in portrait or night modes, it'll hang when processing HDR+.

I've followed the steps and installed GCam on my OnePlus 7. But whenever I try to use this Camera app for clicking photos, color seems to be very very dull. That's the only issue I'm facing. Is there a way to fix it? Any settings needs to be modified?

I installed the software and config file from the second post (the one recommended in the YT video) and I really wasnt impressed. It takes FOREVER for a photo to save to the gallery... 10+ minutes a few times. I tried some of the other recommended GCam versions and they all either crash or take worse photos than the stock camera app that is included with Oxygen 10.0.2

Edit: I found and installed GCam 7.2 and it at least works properly as far as saving the photos etc. I still don't see much difference between the stock camera and Gcam, although I'll play around with it more. We have really crappy weather for taking photos today, so nothing will look very good.
