Same problem, only worse. Got the OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition and it's impossible for me to play any games that require touch. I actually have to extend my touch for 0,5sec. before it even gets recognized. Which makes playing games impossible. Scandalous in this price range. And no I'm not a fanatici phone gamer which should buy a "game-phone", but I have the right to be able to play simple touch games on a smartphone with these specs right? I'm really bummed with my purchase because of it.

I understand what you're talking about and I'm convinced that the problem exists. It remains to convey this to the oneplus team. But how do I do it?

    hey guys!

I have fixed the problem!! it's time consuming though.... so I first of all did a full back up of my phone and extracted the file to my laptop, once the phone started back up, I restored it using that file. I can't remember exactly how I did all this, or where all the files were. I was talked through the process step by step with a OP adviser from customer support. once the back up was restored and my phone was back up and running with all apps installed again, I tried all the games and not once have I had a problem! it's like its brand new again. now I was a bit p***ed off because I had to take over an hour out of my day to sort this but now I am a happy customer again... it's well worth it to get your phone gaming again.

good luck folks, take care [e]1f44c[/e]

This is definitely a problem. Just try "Real Drum" App and compare it to other brands, you'll see how worse the touch latency is on Oxygen OS now (They F'ed up the updates). So far I have compared it to ROG II and iPhone 11 Pro Max, the difference in touch response is laughable, the 2 has instant response times, while the 7 Pro now has unbearable delays.

It seems custom kernel and OS users in XDA from a thread I read some time ago solved it, which means it's Oxygen OS-related.
