OnePlus 7 Pro not turning on

    so I had about 80% battery and I decided to restart my phone. Once I pressed the restart button, the phone did not turn on. I plugged my phone to the charger for about 10 minutes. I tried holding the power button for 15 seconds and I also tried the power and the volume down buttons, but nothing is working. Any other suggestions?

    The phone is brand new and I used it for like 2 days. No physical damage at all and has the current software update.

    That's super weird! I think @Crystal Z. or @Ruby G. can help you better.
    Since it has only been 2 days, you can also go ahead and try getting it replaced by going to your orders under your account and initiate RMA by tapping on Apply RMA.

    I did apply for an RMA. They said that I should get a new phone in 7-10 business days which really sucks because I waited so long for this phone and it's not working...

    Right now, I am trying to drain the battery by leaving it unplugged for a while (12 hours or so), then I will plug it in again and hold the power button and see if that works.

    I researched a bit on this issue and apparently people have been complaining about this since the OnePlus 1. Absolutely completely disgraceful on their behalf to continue having this problem after several years

    There can be anomalies in some devices because of various issues in the manufacturing, assembly and other process.
    Good thing is they are ready to do the RMA, so it's better than trying to find a solution for now and then again land in the same place after a few days/weeks/months and then RMA will not be possible.

    My personal suggestion - waiting for 7-10 days will be more fruitful than regret over the faulty device and have bad fate for OnePlus.

    They have a quality problem with this run of phones. Don't wait and RMA before the 15 days it up.

    Actually my phone battery ended up dying and it came back on when I charged it. So whatever happened that night I guess even though the screen was off.. The battery was draining. After that I switched to the international firmware and I haven't had a problem since

    Phone went. In to hard brick ez fix like it was said b4 volume up and power... Never press both volume went off will send the phone on hard brick

    My phone went just off and the only thing that make it work again was the "Power and Volume up" method.
    But I even don't know why it went off by nothing...
    Do you think it is an hardware issue?

    Thank you so much, thus same thing happen to me. I got to this morning and it was doing that. I was freaking out, I tried doing everything but it wasn't working but trying the "Volume up and Power Button" combination works. But this is such an annoying thing to happen
