I just got the OP 7 pro today from tmobile nyc launch event. The phone is great expecially coming from the OP 6. Twice already I have had the phone randomly restart on me. Is this happening to anyone else? If so, what can we do to fix it?

So far it hasn't done it again since last night but it was strange on the first day.

Also does anyone know if the tmobile version support dual sim? I know it only has the single aim tray but if I was able to find the dual sim does it still let you do it? I should have gotten mine unlocked at the store yesterday when OnePlus was there. I didn't think about that until I got on the train home.

    I've ordered my 256/8 Gb 7Pro yesterday,and received today.
The phone rebooted itself while installing my apps, then rebooted again when I tried to use the popup camera.
A few minutes late,it rebooted everytime I opened the camera app....

No luck,I asked for a refund.

    I'm really disappointed,as a Oneplus fan.

yes it is dual sim. they changed the design so the SIMs sit back to back instead of side by side.

Mine only restarted that first day so maybe try it again and see if it happens again. My camera hasn't given me any issues at all.

I just took my sim out and it can only fit on one side of the sim holder. And there is only marks for a sim on one side so maybe the tmobile version only has a single sim tray not the double.

My original question was if I got the dual sim holder would it still work or is the tmobile version designed for only single sim and doesn't include the 2nd sim reader?

I don't believe it would work. If I remember correctly the TMobile 6T didn't have the gold contact points on the motherboard for dual sim, I would think it's the same with the 7 Pro.

RMA the unit now don't wait. Mine was stuck basically in a bootloop out of the box until the battery dropped below 50%. They have a quality problem and are sending out bad phones. I've seen many issues so far. Locking and randomly rebooting is definitely a thing. Also, don't waste your time with their support team. They'll spend 30m-1hr chatting with you about rebooting the phone or doing a wipe etc. When that script is all played out the only thing they will do for you is escalate to their "experts" for a "remote reflash" in 24-48hrs. I'm on day 3 waiting for that "remote reflash"... Some of this is a delay tactic I think because you only get 100% refund in the first 15days. So if they can drag out all these support issues etc and make it so you end up RMA'ing like 5 days after you get it and then they commit to sending you your replacement in 15 days then your refund option is gone...

In my case,I tried two times to reset the phone, booting it from the recovery mode.
Everything was useless, cause as soon as the device booted,it starts to struggle and lagging, and reboooting again.
The biggest issue, happened when I opened the camera app,it crashed making the popup camera extend and then retract,in a infinite loop.

Asked for a refund,my phone is on a plane right now, returning back to Poland.
I'm a Oneplus client from Oneplus 3T,and owner of both a Oneplus 5 and 6.
As soon as I get my money back,I will start searching for a reliable phone, but surely not from OnePlus.
You can't even imagine, how much disappointed I am.

I'm sorry to hear that man. After my 2 reboots the first day mine has been great. I do think my camera in my op 6 was better or clearer then this one eaidea that though I can't complain.

Same problem here. I moved up from a OnePlus 6T, and I am using the same apps that worked well on the older phone.

Over the two weeks I've had the phone, it has rebooted on its own three times. Each time it's been sitting in standby mode, and I only realize it has rebooted when I wake the phone and have to type in my PIN under the message "PIN required for extra security after reboot."

One time it rebooted overnight, and the other two times were while idling in a drawer at work.

I decided just before the deadline that I would return the phone and go back to my 6T.

If anyone from OnePlus is reading this, are the users above and I special cases? Can I try another 7 Pro in confidence?
