Display OnePlus 7 Pro screen turns off after reboot after 10.3.3 update

Just received and applied update to Oxygen OS 10.3.4.GM21AA for my Oneplus 7 Pro GM1917 and this problem continues to persist. Very annoying. After a reboot the phone goes to a black screen instead of the keypad to enter my pin. I have to wait a few seconds until the keypad momentarily flashes on the screen and off again. Then I press the power button to make the keypad display and enter my pin. OnePlus is missing on fixing this issue.

Using gesture navigation and have navigation bar hidden? Try left right navigation and show the bar. Then reboot.
I've been mentioning this to bughunters several times. But it's not easy to catch logs... And it has never been tested and replicated by devs of some odd reason despite my attempts to describe the issue.
Simply just hide the bar... In left right navigation and you get the bug. Show the bar and you don't.
I assume the bug is preseent just the same way as when I had the 7 Pro. Does not exist on 8 Pro. Didn't always exist on 7 Pro.

I had seen this advice in an earlier post. I tried it then and tried it today. No change. The problem persists. I have always used the standard left right navigation but based on this advice I did change the setting to each of the different available options with reboot each time. Thru each of the options and reboots the problem persisted so I reverted back to the standard left right navigation bar. Just have to wait for OnePlus to correct the problem.

How about this setting? It worked every time for me on 7 Pro if I showed the bar.

Based on the image you attached, I just tried that also but it did not fix anything. Reverted back to standard navigation bar and the problem is still there. These nav bar changes may have worked for you but not for me. All along I couldn't see any connection between nav bar/gesture settings and the keypad not displaying after reboot. Thank you anyway.

Could have been broken further then. Before it was only triggered by hiding the bar. Then I heard it got buggy even for users with the old style navigation buttons... Then the only thing that worked for a while was showing bar and left right. And now apperently that too.
I don't really know how more I could have done it. If a detailed step by step list don't help when you report an issue...

Maybe if a few posts video proof of their issue with an report of their own. This issue began like in beta 5 or similar.. And then only because of hiding bar.

    Hi everyone !
    Same problem here.
Navigation bar or gestures, it's the same : I have to press the power button twice to access keypad.

If you shut down then start the phone it works fine as intended. When you restart, it doesn't work and you have press the power button. At least on 7pro.
