OnePlus 7 PRO shutdown bug, issue.

    My OnePlus 7 PRO in the past week shutdown automatically twice already. I am afraid that he can shutdown forever.
    The only way I managed it to go alive again was holding the volume up and power keys during 15 seconds and it restarts.

    How many off you are getting the same issue?

    Happy to see more adopting the 90mhz screen. The 7 pro has spoiled me in terms of usability, speed and smoothness.

    It happened to me twice and i just noiced the phone was off/blackout when i needed to check something. This is not a good user experience specially if someone trying to contact you for any emergencies.

    Are you from any Android development community?

    Is this could be because of Bluetooth. Recently I started using fitness band which is always on and connected.

    I am experiencing this problem only after using fitness band.

    My OnePlus 7 pro shutdowned last night on its own with charge on the battery causing me to miss my alarm clock for work. This is the second time that it has happened in the few months that I have owned the phone. Both times I was able to restart it by holding vol. and power key at the same time.

    I had the same. 2 different nights the phone shutdown by itself while it was charging. This is already my second OP7 Pro, first had a fault alert slider that did not go into silent mode after 1 week.

    Worst of all is the neglect of a Chinese company that wants to dominate the American market, with so much contempt for its consumers, for me, that I have bought all the OPs, now I have the OP7 Pro, and it will surely be the last of the OP unfortunately for the little case with consumers.

    Hi All,
    I had this issue too. This is what I did and recommend you there same.

    Initially I contacted support and they asked me to factory reset my phone. After the reset, on the 9th day and the 10th day I faced random shutdown.
    I called them again and they asked me to raise a RMA as the phone is technically still under 1 year warranty and would need some types of repairs.
    They would send you a FedEx shipment bill. Use it to send it to Acer repairs. They are based in TX and the shipment should be overnight.
    Your should hear back from them in few days and over the next week you would receive a repaired phone back by FedEx with a tracking number.

    I am still testing it out real time as I just received it back today.

    Their email may not much detail to what exactly was fixed. Upon checking with the customer support, I found out that the motherboard was replaced and has a new IMEI number (s) on it.

    Please make sure that you call them to walk through the RMA process clearly bse their instructions in the email and on the website are slightly different and could be confusing.

    Have this Same issue with my 7 pro,,,,it started after the android 10 update..... every 3 or 4 days it repeats... whenever a call arrives.. phone simply Power off by itself

    I have this same issue. Started about a week after I purchased it on release date. It's happened 20-30 times. I opened a thread as well here in the forum.

    I heard quite a few people faced the issue where their phone switched off and wouldn't start no matter what. Then it rebooted by itself in some time.

    I bought my OP7P a week back and I experienced the issue too. My phone screen went off and nothing I did could wake it up. The phone was still on as I got haptic feedback from the notification slider. But it wouldn't turn on. Then 15-20min later the screen came back to life.

    And yesterday I experienced the same thing but for a much lesser time.

    Can anyone chime in and tell me if they faced the same thing? I'd like to find out if this is a widespread issue that will become prominent as the phone becomes old.

    I have a brandnew oneplus 7T pro 8/256GB And it shuts down every time I am inactive for half an hour I have this phone one day and already issues as severe as this.
