OnePlus 7 Pro Stuck in RMA HELL! Terrible customer service.

    After having a voice call and a chat today I finally got some movement on my third RMA. Yes third RMA. Finally they got there crap together. Thank you to the people @SoniaB @B_Wrath they helped escalate this RMA.

    Terrible customer service is an understatement. According to the live chat I am on the Acer service center failed my inspection for a faulty earpiece speaker due to a supposed scratch on the device that was sent back a day after I received it.

    Hey, so an update on my part.

    I received my phone yesterday. Did not talk to anyone from OnePlus since my last post. On Monday, I received an email about my phone being sent by FedEx. A day before OnePlus sent me an email. It was exactly 12 days after them receiving my device.

    I wish that they would communicate throughout the whole process. When they received the phone, when they start inspecting, what was the problem, etc. Or maybe even an email saying, " hey, we are receiving an influx of OnePlus devices at the moment and the Acer team is working on inspecting all these devices". Had I not talked to live chat I would have been left in the dark for x business days and then would receive a email from FedEx saying a package is sent to me.

    I do feel so bad for others who are going through this and hope you get your issue resolved.

    As for the refunding the phone and repurchasing it. For my case, I was charged with a foreign fee and that would have been nonrefundable.

    Here goes an example of the difference in RMA and CS process. I just sent my 2 month old defective Galaxy Buds this past Monday. I will be getting my new buds this upcoming Monday. One week turnaround time with a prepaid shipping label supplied. OnePlus if you want to roll with the big boys you have to treat your customers better.

    So finally got my phone this past Monday. That was entire month since my original order. OnePlus refunded me my shipping and sent me the nylon OnePlus case. Still I would give that back if they would just get the RMA crap fixed.

    Sucks to hear stories like these. My trade in process and voucher process went smoothly. Definitely makes me worried for next years upgrade.
