Wonder how much you get paid to defend for them .
Have installed 11 update its the worst one nothing new.
AOD is still coming. Even a $100 phones has stable 11 update than OnePlus. Its just like focusing on the new ones and forgetting the previous models

I don't get paid... I'm here free of charge just like you.
A few things to point out that you are wrong about ;)

    1. A lot changed actually in A11, the best thing for me is the media controls in quick settings and the ability to have google home toggles in power menu. You need to keep in mind it's an update of android, not reinvention of android itself.
    2. AOD isn't coming to stable for older devices, stated by a OnePlus employee. (not official)
    3. Name the 100$ phone with A11, I'm waiting....

Ah, this is what I expected. Tbh, I wouldn't take this as an official response to the AOD situation; I remember seeing someone else posting a transcript with info stating the exact opposite (saying AOD is coming in a future update, etc). Unless they make an official statement themselves, I'd take it and any support transcripts with a grain of salt. It only creates hysteria.

Is that all the changes you are happy for!? Thats strange we expected AOD system stabilization battery utilisation and many other features and improvements but what we got is very less than we deserve. Well media controls and Google toggle is not something you should be excited for.
Maybe you actually don't know what a stable update is.
Well $100 phones are moto realme even Mi have stable ones well you should do some work rather than asking me which phones have got it.
I think you are a paid member of OnePlus who's job is to cover up the real issues which we are facing and adding false claims to them.

You believe in that post. Really hardware compatibility issues on OnePlus series 7 which comes with an amoled panel😂. Thisis done just to please the upper variants so that they can have features which we don't have.
Samsang provides AOD to almost all its flagships and its seen even in some mid rangers also. So that kind of post is like OnePlus assuming its consumers are illiterate people who don't know anything about phones.
Well im gonna tell everyone of my friends whoever is going to buy a OnePlus phone not to buy one.

Well at one point OnePlus used to push updates for bug fixes security update everyone 3 months and many more. But it has changed now. No bug fixing updates no timely security update.
They only post a thread stating limited number of people will receive it. Fact is not everyone does receive it.

One question: do you do a factory reset every time a major android update comes out?

You can now choose ColorOS on newer oneplus phone's if OxygenOS isn't good enough.

Lets be honest its 2 years old phone, OnePlus is not old OnePlus what we had before, guys. Don't expect a lot about updates, but even without them ill stay on Op7P until someone made notch/hole/drop/cr@p free screen. And I'll pay for it 1.5x price if it needed to be.

Never settle for less😂 and now they are making their flagship customers to settle down.
How can you trust a company who does this.
