Oneplus 7 Pro Updated to Oxygen OS 11 has lost the ability to read QR codes via native camera via OnePlus 7 Pro

The native camera app while using OxygenOS 10 had the ability to read the QR codes. However after I updated to Oxygen OS 11, that ability of reading the QR codes seems to have lost. Google lense however has been added but it does not seem to include the QR reader ability within it as well. Any idea of what is happening ?

If you tap the lens icon next to the shutter button you should be able to scan QR codes as well. It does on my 7t pro after the OS11 update

    Hi,

I have the exact same issue with OnePlus 7T.
And to reply to the other poster: Google Lense on the phone does not read QR codes either – which is twice weird, as Google Lense is supposed to be able to do it. Have you actually tried to read a QR code on OS11? (Lense does recognize a picture of a QR code, but it does not read it.)

It seems to me that it is a OS11 bug, at least on the 7 series.

Same here. Since the update (7pro) QR code reading not available in camera app, no Lens icon visible either.
Had already installed Lens separately which works. Yet, it'd be great to just have the functionality available through the regular camera app again.

i found it! hold the Home button and the google lens symbol is right there, just to the left of the 4 coloured dots.
