    Hello guys,

Right now I am really undecided between the OP 7 Pro with the 12 or 8 GB of RAM. Does the 12 GB of RAM make a big difference? Which one should I get from all points of view.

I think 12 is an overkill.

I have the 10GB-RAM 6T McLaren and the Note 9 with 6GB RAM. From daily usage for nearly 6 months, I really cannot tell much of a difference at all.

I am guessing you are considering the 12GB variant due to longevity? If so, I would say 8 GB would be good choice.

Right now, Android cannot utilize full 12 GB of RAM anyway. 6 GB seems like the sweet spot right now, but 8 GB may give you a bit of wiggle room for longevity.

If you are buying it, just go for the 12 gb option. It will make a difference.

6 gb should already be enough, you can't tell a difference between 6 and 8 already. But with 8 you get 256 gb of storage, what is super nice. So I would go for 8/256. With the 12 gb you pay a lot more and don't get any more storage. You will only get more RAM, which you will never feel. So decide for yourself

Ah yes. Buy the more expensive one for the storage as OnePlus phones do not come with expandable memory capability. Good advice! It would have made the 12GB RAM version more attractive if they made it 512 GB of storage.

Yes, The 512GB option would have been a great compliment to the 12GB device!!

ok... man... I'm gonna try and be respectful. purchased my 8 to replace my 7t. 7t was my first ONEPLUS. I'm NOT happy at all. first of all the screen protector has a VERY v
isible circle when it off or on... which is f-ing anyoy9ng when I'm playing graphic heavy games. 7t didn't have that. moved the selfy camera 5o the left so when I want to make it disappear it takes maybe a 1/4 of inch off the top. which the 7t didn't do... also I canrmt send pictures through messenger. well I've emailed the company 2 times now and they get back to me but they want more information... well.... I took the brand new phone out of the case tried to send a small file picture and all I get for 3 hrs is."sending""
Really close to throwing 8t straight in the trash and buying a bubua red magic with 144 refresh rate and air and liquid cooked because this 8 like 5ge 7t I traded in overheats to the point that it actually shuts itself down...mm

Sorry..... Was fuming. Just 8. Should of probably waited for the 8t. 7t was my first plus phone and I'd been a Samsung guy for probably 8 years. And the 7t totally changed phone preference which I thought Samsung would be it forever. this 8 is given me nothing but problems. Obviously 1 major factor was the price difference. But, seriously looking into the Nubia Red Magic. 144 fluid display on top of about 4 other upgrades from this 8 for approximately the same price.
