After the android 11 update its observed that the wifi keeps disconnecting and connecting frequently. The "intelligently select best wifi" function is already turned off. And to my surprise it disconnects and connects again to the same network (5ghz) and not the 2.4ghz... There are no range related issues, this happens when the wifi has full range. Already cleared the cache from recovery mode, please suggest a solution for this.

That's something I've left for the end. Just wanted to know if there is some troubleshooting for this.

That was quite a relief... I was scared that if only my phone had a hardware issue...

The update did not fix this. I will have to buy a new phone since this is unbearable. Can anyone recommend a brand that doesn't break their customers phones?

Just roll back to the previous version stable update. I'm planning to do that if I don't receive an update in a month

I have been in constant communication with oneplus support and they have not been willing to assist me in reverting to Ox10. Is there a guide somewhere on how to proceed? Have you done complete reset yet? I fail to see how this would help but will try today.

OnePlus guys will never tell you how to revert back to the previous version. Just search it on XDA. You will find a way.

Are you talking about Oxygen 11.0.0.2? That is what I'm on, and I can't see any improvement. Wifi goes up and down like a yoyo. I run Wifi Analyzer app in the background and it tells me that my connection to the router is fine without any dips. Still the phone decides to disconnect and reconnect continuously, often to a network with poorer signal. Downtime is 3-10 seconds every time.

Yes, the issue is still not resolved. I checked it, but I've found a way to downgrade to the previous version of Android so if I get frustrated with this I'll downgrade maybe
