OnePlus 7Pro T-Mobile to international variant

    Dad0507, May 18, 2019 :
What are the odds that this will be able to flash to international variant while still carrier locked like the 6t? I hope sooner than later!

im currently in the unlock application process, so far, same as for the 6t, but the device isnt in the unlock database yet so some extra info (serial number etc.) is required. I'll update when on global oos

made it to the international rom. process was difficult and involved a full format of both a/b partitions and twrp, however, I'm happy to report we are not stuck on T-Mobiles update/support schedule. stay tuned on XDA for guides, they should start popping up in the next few days

awesome, I'm hoping for Qualcomm update without unlocking the bootloader. I used the tool to convert my OP6T T-Mobile to International.

I still don't understand the software version numbers, we should be beyond April judging by OxygenOS version.

it's going to be the same way the 6t was.. behind and missing features. that's why I got the 7 pro direct from OnePlus this time.. sure they will likely be a way to convert it to global, but I decided to not bother.

I have the old jump program with TMobile. I can upgrade 3 times a year. I turn in my device and only pay taxes with a month payment for the new one. this also includes insurance so if ANYTHING happens I pay a deductible and I get a new or refurbished one. no way am I gonna buy direct and lose this perk. think about it, I owned the 6t for 6 months. I only payed about $180 for the phone. how much did you pay? [e]1f4aa[/e][e]1f44d[/e][e]1f4aa[/e][e]1f4aa[/e][e]1f44d[/e][e]1f44d[/e]

how much does the jump program cost though? I got insurance through OnePlus. which costs 8 per month, rather than the 15 for the 360 protection plan.. i paid for the phone outright, and got a decent trade-in for the 6t. I don't upgrade that often, I typically keep phones for a few years. so, the jump plan doesn't really work out for me. whatever works for you. personally, not being tied to T-Mobiles updates and lack of features is worth it to me.

Not true, last week, i converted 2 of my lines from EIP to JoD,
Now, the original Jump is gone.
Also, stores only like to do JoD for certain devices, but social media does almost all of them.

tell me how I can pull up my history and I'll show you. I'm grandfathered in JOD. List of phones I've had because of JOD: Motorola Nexus 6, Samsung S6, S7 edge, Note 5, Note 7, Note 9, S9 Plus, S10e. HTC 10.Alcatel Windows Phone. LG G5,G6,G7, G8, V20,V30, and V40. OnePlus 7 Pro. I may have forgotten some. And some phones don't qualify for Jump on Demand, usually the low end phones. So far there has been three different versions of Jump. I have the one they claim you can only use three times a year but I have used it more than that.
