Don't know whether to be happy or sad about this ;), I do think the bug hunter would get back to me first if they had found anything. :)

it makes me sad that I've mentioned it to OnePlus on at least 5 separate occasions and I've had no reply from them at all

That's a strange one as your dash charge acts exactly like warp charge for me (and dash charge acts the same as that)but my issue adds the stage of no charging as well which makes it far worse as the phone charges unbelievably slowly at that point.

Only way to tell is to get your hand on another Warp Powerbrick and run your test with that I suppose, if that still causes same issue than you might have a defect unit. I really hope this will get fixed once they release Android Q or something.

please somebody help me through this.. my warp charge is really not upto the mark. it takes about 1hour and 30 minutes to charge fully .. and about 47% in 30 minutes., this is the results I got after doing the test for 5 times and in a room with air conditioner,, and also by switching off the phone

Update to anyone who has had this issue, I finally got a response from a bug hunter and unfortunately they say it's a hardware issue.. Let's hold up for a second. :3

Legit just got another email back saying it's a software issue now looks like it has to do with otg maybe. This is some good evidence now to say it's definitely software!!

So basically we all got the doomed 1st batch of OnePlus 7 Pro, just like when X-Box 360 came out when everybody got the "Red Ring of Death."

He also said that the most affected devices were in India cause by high temps but me an a few others were from the UK so I don't know how it would've happened. =_=

I'm gonna wait til Warp Charge adapter is readily available in my country (Indonesia) that's the only way I can know for sure if it's the brick thats faulty or the phone itself.

So by hardware they mean its a faulty power brick and cable or something wrong in the phone internals?
I get a charging speed of around 5800mA for a few minutes when I charge initially and then it falls down and averages around 3500 mA. Is this the correct speed warp charge should deliver?

That sounds totally normal, the peak is 5amps then it will settle around 3amps, mine peaks at 5 for a few seconds goes to 1 amp then switches between warp, normal and no charging at all, and I'm pretty sure he means phone internals, as I think another person on here has two warp chargers and a car warp charger and the issue still exists.

but I can't really tell the diference between the dash charger and the warp.. both charges the phone identically..

Update guys, I have submitted for a replacement device that the support team immediately put through as soon as I showed them the emails that the bug hunter sent to me. It'll take 3-6 days and I've asked a friend to borrow their old phone for now. When I get the new phone, I'll test it before any updates, then update it to the latest version to see if it is once an for all a software issue!
