Nah... Stock phones that has this problem is more probable to be faulty units. But hopefully it can be a software bug. Just strange that a software bug like this can be limited to only a few though...

Warp Charge was working normal for many of us, this problem occured when 9.5.5 was released, so I don't think it's a faulty unit that's causing it.

For some it got broken at a different update... And for some just suddenly several days after a update. And some due to root and magisk... It complicates things a bit when we get so many different errors behind it

well i hope 1+ fixes it for your model. report it so they can look into the issue. could just be software shit.

I've reached out to them on Twitter and had no response. love chat told me it would be fixed via software, but wouldn't acknowledge there was a problem

No need to downgrade the magisk, just update it to the newest version 19.4-05658caf (19305).
I have the same problem, and just do the magisk update today after read this tread, (no need to put in stable version), just see in magisk that it has a new version and do the install then reboot, now the warp charge is back.

I got my new unit today and it shipped with 9.5.5 and warp charge works well also it sustains over 5 amps and doesn't drop to 1 . I'll do some logs and update to see if the problem is back then so more logs and send it to the bug hunter!

Hey Matt do you happen to have Dash Adapter? If you do, do you mind try and charge with it, i'd just like to know if OP7P is backward compatible.

Great. Do keep us posted with your findings. If possible test on 9.5.5 for a couple of days before moving on to test 9.5.8.

I've seen YouTube reviews on Oneplus 7 Pro with Dash and Warp chargers. Dash was just 18 minutes behind for a full charge. While Warp had a pretty big lead around 50%.

My device goes funny when I use Dash Charge
it seems when Dash Charge is being used my current is capped around 1400-1500 mA and the Fast Charge goes on/off.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news guys but I don't have the issue at all on the new phone. It could be that I skipped 9.5.7 and went straight to 9.5.8 but for now I have no evidence that it's software but some that means it's hardware :-(
