This shows only 95gb of usable storage. Whereas when I was using the 5T it has 111gb of usable storage. Even my Huawei P30 has 110gb usable storage.

This means the A/B partition eats it up. Damn. That is almost 20gb of wasted storage. Knda saddening. ☹️

I don't understand why need too much storage for A/B partitions. And why they don't clean up useless partion post update. Big size doesn't mean that you consume storage as big waste.

AB doesnt eat it up, the sheer size of OxygenOS 10.x.x is eating it up, was a thread bout it not long ago

Partitions are now not responsible for space consumption. Secondly, OOS doesn't eat up space like Samsung OneUi or MiUi there are so less modifications done to OOS.

Also, 128GB doesn't mean you're going to get all 128 for usage, you'd get Max 119 GB for that since it is the actual size not 128. And from that you take out 25 GB of Android 10 + 2/3 GB OOS patches round off Current 10.0.6 is 28 GB system consumption.

So now you are left with somewhere around 90~91 GB of final free Storage for your apps/media etc...

I think what op is saying is that the op7t doesnt even show it has 128gb of storage, only 95gb, as if the storage capacity isnt the listed 128gb. I'd like to know too, because I just got mine, and it shows the same 95gb of total storage instead of 128gb. In other words, instead of showing a capacityof 128gb, it only shows a capacity of 95gb
