Todya I got my replacement phone but sadly the new device also have the same problem... But the customer service executives are telling it's common and it's display properties... Wtf!!! I am really depressed with the OnePlus quality...

Your video playback if isn't recorded on a higher frame rate, hence even you have set 90Hz, it is useless. Most videos are shot on 60Hz as it is supposed to be regular refresh rate.

And the things that ain't on 90Hz, still try to match the rate uses Machine Learning to create extra frames to get you the smooth effects so don't expect it to be perfect.

If ur theory is right then Realme X2 Pro which also have the same pannel does not show any sign of these black crush issues, which I have used for 4 months before OnePlus 7T. As I started facing issues software experience in X2Pro (overheating and battery draining) I switched to OP7T. And videos are never shot on Hz rate it's shot on Fps... If ur right then 'Hobbit-Series' movie shot on 48fps or 'GeminiMan' shot on 120 fps whose trailers are uploaded on YouTube on a same frame rate, should not show the problem, also (checked playing in desktop view mode where I can maxout the video quality)... And I can see the problem on these both trailers I checked before posting this thread... so please stop being a fanboy, open your eyes towards the issue... also please research about refresh rate before commenting...

It also had those issues... infact 50% higher refresh rate Amoled panels by samsung have this issue....the left remaining without any issues...goes to the youtubers reviewers for reviewing...and bigger people...I ordered op7t in August 1 st week....had both display tint and black crush... ordered replacement....that also had the same.... won't waste anytime on this from now....now it's my job to make people aware
