    Piyushanni , via OnePlus 7T , Apr 15, 2020 :
Update: Oxygen Os 10.3.2 fixed it. 19th April.

Update: 14th May. The charging speed is not consistent, sometimes (20% of the time) it charges as claimed but (80% of time) it charges slow. Irrespective of temperature, as i always charge my device in AC room chilled.

Oneplus has claimed "Charging Speed" in 30min "0 to 70%".
After repeatedly posting no response from their side!!! Why have they slowed our charging speed??
With 3700mah battery the device hardly survives a day, but we guys were happy about the charging speed!!!
You are just providing rubish updates like Ram optimization, Gallery improvement the things hardly anyone cares.

My device was charging fine before but from the last update it hardly goes to 60% in 30 min where is the so called "Wrap T" marketing here???

Note: My cables and chargers are in its best condition, and also charging ports are clean!! I am not using my device while charging!!! and the temperature here ia 23°C due to AC

Posting some recent screenshot 15th April 2020

Were you using the phone while it was charging?
    Was Wifi hotspot enabled?

I have excellent battery life, 36-44 hours of standby and 5.5-7 hours of screen on time

    "!!!"

You know if you're using the phone "heavily" while charging it could raise heat, not to mention you are actually using your battery and draining it while charging

    Just a thought

Which world do you leave?? They never claimed i thing you should google some verified sites and watch their launch videos. The Wrap T charger which is a battery technology in oneplus 7t and 7t pro charges from 0 to 70 in 30 min. You don't know?? its your issue don't bother other. And i know about charging speed decreases and all the things so don't divert the topic.

what i am saying "Before the last update my phone charged as it was claimed" 0 to 70 in 30 min.

Yeah i already mentioned i am not "using the phone while charging" plus the ambient temperature is 23°C due to AC that alone justified.
The last update messed up everything!!

Try a soft reset, if you haven't already

If that doesn't help, contact oneplus directly

Actually it's not like that, i have already done these.
Its an issue most of the people are getting. Search the Oneplus 7t thread many of them are talking about it. I am not the only one facing this problem. Oneplus has pushed the update and the charging speed decreased.

I doubt it. Mine is charging as it did a week ago.

maybe it's the indian version, I don't know. vast majority of heat charge lag etc issues are reported from there. We're on different OS versions.

That wiggle before the 70% means "approximately", and I'd argue 60% isn't far off the mark. I believe getting 60% is within the bounds of "approximately". An informed buyer would presumably know that any performance claims are made in ideal conditions, too. I don't know really what you want from this thread.

    .

    .

Approximately 70% means at least reaching 68%. The approximate values are close to each other, they don't vary by big numbers like 10.

Though i am with you on this argument, his phone reached '60' in 30 minutes from 4%. So technically, 56%. So a little far for approximate value of 70.

Have you tried changing your power port. As in, try at different locations, like work, home etc. I have seen the charging speeds differ. At one of my office ports, it's the fastest. Maybe gives more speed than even OnePlus claims. Where I have a multiplug, where it shares one port for charging multiple devices, like my laptop and mobile, it's a little slower.

Bro with due respect i am telling you..
Something people don't understand, so please stay away with this thread don't stick with your own dumb consequences!!

I am not the usualy guy!!! been rooting the devices from last 7 years and i have know all these things work. So please don't teach that 70 % is approx 60%!!! There's a difference, if you still don't get please stay away from thread .
    Thank You [e]1f60a[/e]
