I recently exchanged my 9 Month old OP6T for the OP7T on the first sale of Amazon sale in India... got it nice and early...on 2nd Oct'19.

The device is Glacier Blue OP7T with 8 GB Ram & 256 GB of storage. The phone is great, the display is really fluid at 90 Hz..gaming is amazing..also the app switching is also very smooth...no lag or force closures detected as of yet.

The TPU backcover is very ugly...compared to the one i got with OP6T.

No software issues as of yet. But, the build quality is not what i expected, i noticed a hollow sound while using the phone, on a closer look...i found that the display has lifted up from the volume rocker side. And i can visually see he display board moving up and down if i place it on eye level and gently try to press it down. The glass has come off from its plastic housing.

This was also the issue with both of my OP3T's i owned a while back...but this issue came after prolonged usage and 2-3 accidental drops later. But with OP7T this happned with extremely careful usage of the phone in only 6 days.

Already complaind to the Amazon Customer service, they have scheduled a technician visit for day after. Hopefully they may be able to resolve the issue. But this issue is not that is expected of OnePlus.

Looks like i rushed into buying this phone, hope i dont regret it.

I know you are quiet disappointed, but then there are some notorious devices that bypass quality control. If there is a hardware issue you are due to get a replacement if you have reported within 10 days or a repair.

What a nightmare it is, Amazon is prompt in providing resolution on their end, but are limited because the seller from which i got my 7T is now out of stock, so i need to return my phone and will be provided with a refund. And now i have to again go through with buying another phone and wait for that to arrive. This is just a nightmare for me, as i run a business that depends heavily on my phone. Utterly Disappointed with Oneplus might as well rid the idea of buying a OnePlus again. As the quality control issue is now on the rise in Oneplus devices, faced the same issue in two of my Oneplus 3T's also..three times is not a coincidence.

you must have received Acko screen replacement 1year warranty if you have bought it from Amazon. I have received that warranty and that is why suggesting you to do so.

Those are not dead pixels. That is clear the liquid behind the screen coming out, it will spread if you delay more. Accidental damages are not covered under warranty, so you will have to pay it from your own pocket.

This is not a screen damage, it's internal damages which won't be covered by acko. But having said that there is no harm in trying.

That's not a experience anyone would like to have. Get a refund and move on get another device of your choice.
