    Hi,

Would it possible to share yours and your friend's OP7T manufacture details like date and QC no.? I'm trying to collect some data on whether the issue is only with specific batches or with certain manufacture months. You see some comments I've collected so far here: https://forums.oneplus.com/threads/...led-not-uniform.1122487/page-19#post-20992820.

    An update:

Also, I've returned my OP7T to the experience center. I've also provided them with proper pics of the tint in dark room (using these images: https://www.rtings.com/images/test-materials/2016/5-percent.png and https://ibb.co/z2frkW3). The service engineer mentioned that they have sent it to the technical team and are looking at this issue - I'm not sure if they are just delaying the replacement process or if they are actually looking into it, but I will be returning to the experience center tomorrow to ask about the status and decide what I should do with my 7T. In the meantime, I would really appreciate if people with no tint issues could please share details about their device as much as possible (manufacture date, make etc.,) at least this will let us know if we are just trying a lucky draw with our money or if it's it's a localized issue in the factories.

In my experience, as long as the brightness is not in the "green tint area", the image quality is pretty much standard. Not stellar, but still, standard.

You are returning the phone in which city OP store? Are they acknowledging the tint issue?

    @Pavitrakumar

My display looks really bad when I open that image. It's been a month since I bought it, the service centre still refuses to acknowledge the issue as they were unable to see it for themselves in the showroom. Mine is a September model.

I'm trying to live with it until another good phone comes along.

Received my 7T yesterday and I'm also facing the coloring issue on low brightness settings. Asked Oneplus here in NL for a replacement. Hopefully they will do this.

Strange thing is they said it's a software issue and it wil be fixed in the next upcoming update. Quite a different story fork what's told here in the forum.

I went to OnePlus Exclusive Service Center here in Ahmedabad they did approve that it is a hardware issue after checking it in a dark room and gave me a replacement device even after 1 month from date of purchase which was really great of them and I appreciate their efforts, after receiving the replacement i checked the device at the service centre itself and found it had greenish tint like other users so I requested them for a refund and they have processed the request further. I hope i do get a refund so that maybe i can get a 7 Pro or a 7T Pro which doesn’t have any sort of issue like this.

It's not a software issue. All that talk is BIG lie. It cannot be fixed and won't be fixed.
Lucky you. Some service centres are simply denying to accept it as issue and are saying that they have received communication from top to consider it as normal.

    Minor update:
I had requested an RMA on my unit for this problem and shipped it to the service center. They have accepted it and are replacing the screen it sounds like. I'll update with if this was successful or not once I receive the device.

Summarizing what I've found so far:
Out of the 5 responses I've got so far, it seems that 09-2019 QC and/or manufacture date seems to have either less or no tint - 3 data points. My model is 10-2019 for both QC and manufacture and has a noticeable display tint. So, that makes it 3 data points supporting that newer QC date models have high degree of tint issue. Of course, nothing is conclusive until we get more data.

I'm very surprised OnePlus has announced this is "not an issue" (which the service centers are repeating like a slogan - "never settle" becomes "display coloration effect not an issue" -.-). Especially when we have clear examples of varying degrees of tint - I would not care about it this much if *every* single display had the same tint effect of the same *degree*, but there are ones that have very less/barely noticeable tint and some which have clearly visible tints.

Straight out of the box in a dark room. Tried with the grey from chrome incognito and google play store. Also with a pitch black wallpaper. Can't reproduce the tint.

    Edit:

Bought a second blue one and no tint or any display problems.
