I emailed OnePlus support and they asked for some details like imei etc. They also asked if the issue is only with the clock app (that's what the screenshot was). so i sent them another screenshot.
Not very hopeful that this will go anywhere but doesn't hurt trying. I will update you all when they respond.
I'll also visit the experience store again this weekend.

    here are my screenshots

your Indian pride seems to have been awakened buddy :)

btw i am also a proud Indian and was just trying to understand the root cause of certain issues which seem more prevalent for folks having 'made in India' units.. (just judging by responses on this forum though.. that may not be a big enough sample size though to reach a conclusion)

regarding replacement window, even devices bought from oneplus stores or oneplus online store seem to have a 10 day replacement window

Talk to service centre guys and have them look at it in low light. They will understand it most likely and hopefully.

Thanks for that screenshot. And no, it has nothing to do with Indian pride and stuff. I just stated the obvious. A simple googling tells the truth

I think it's a software issue because the green tint reduces drastically when you switch to 60Hz refresh rate.
I just tried it and the green tint reduced drastically.

my OnePlus 7t has the same issue. And there is some issue with some videos also where in complete dark scene of video i can see some light on top and bottom part of screen while mid part is completely black, it's somewhat like light bleeding of lcds and it is only visible when brightness is more than 40% while on low brightness everything is fine.

Reminds me of OnePlus One (yellow hue along the bottom of the screen) and OnePlus 5 (jelly effect when scrolling) days. Both times OnePlus said it's not a flaw, it's a feature...LOL!

i tried turning off dc dimming on and off, refresh rate 60 and 90. no difference.
Definitely a panel issue. freaking purple patches. I'm gonna visit service center tomorrow with pictures. Even if they accept and repair, i wont be satisfied. can't accept such quality. probably my first and last OnePlus device.

I visited the oneplus store in chennai to sort out this issue which was happening to me. I managed to explain the issue to the engineer which took me almost an hour. So after so many attempts, I made it.

First they wanted to check if this is a software issue. After flashing my device, I can't find the tint on my 7T. Then after spending one hour of check, I came to know this is an software issue because the phone was running on 10.0.1 just like it came out of the box. Few minutes later updated to 10.0.3 and yet again got the purple tint on my display.

One thing I noticed is, when I was playing Call of duty in fnatic mode(with display enhancement enabled), the screen looks clean with no tints, NOTHING!

Hoping that oneplus will fix this in the future updates.

P.S: Even I had the screen flickering issue which was noticed when using youtube or when playing Call of duty. After flashing the device, surprisingly it was gone. So most of the issue are software related.
