sounds like a lemon I would call T-Mobile to get a replacement. because it worked for me and so did the update.

Ah - I don't have the 5G variant of the McLaren handset - just the 4G one that is sold in Europe.

okay well that one hasn't gotten the update yet hopefully that will get the updated next week or so to fix that issue. it looks like one plus did a hotfix for T-Mobile's variant probably because T-Mobile asked.

if anyone hasn't tried it yet, I was able to solve my GPS lag by setting the preferred network type to 2G/3G/LTE since 5G seems to be the problem. Settings > Wi-Fi & Internet > SIM & Network > change preferred network type to 2G/3G/LTE

if you have the 5g you have TMobile and they sent it an update that fixed it on 5g. mine worked on 5g.

I would try to factory data reset then. mine was working after the update the only reason I did a factory data reset was because of battery life which now my battery life is doing much better. my GPS works just fine now on 5G

They are still working on bugfixing 5G. It's probably better to stick with 4G if you're looking for reliability.

not sure if any of you remember when the EVO came out when 4g fist started...but battery drain and signal issues took a few months to fix.. relax

I also used the GPS Locker kohi click test app to force AGPS data download, waited about 30 minutes, then rebooted a couple of times. So far it's been ok. It sometimes takes a minute to lock, but it's stayed locked. I have two more longclick speed test drives (100+ miles) early this coming week
