I was wondering if anyone else has this issue where the oled is not flush against the glass and has ripple like effects at the side of the screen. I have it at the top edge of my screen.

That's the screen protector, not the OLED screen

That looks like a glass screen protector on top of the phones own glass..

The phone comes with a screen protector applied at the factory.

You're looking at the edges of it.

Whatever it may be, long as the device isn't damaged which it doesn't look damaged, looks just the way its intended separated layer of screen and Glass... If you see a separation of the screen from the frame of the phone then I'd say it's an issue.

Yup same phone, just not the 5G version. I ripped off the annoying feeling plastic protector and went whitestone dome.

It's noticeable at certain angles in bright light, and prolly happens coz the oled, digitiser, and glass are not laminated together as one like the 7 pro.

Just wondering how prevalent the issue is.

The oled is not laminated to the screen on the 7 pro.
Watch all teardown u tube movies.

Also here is not a fault it is the default screenprotector which is not Cristal clear but causes a grain. Remove it an find a beautiful clean bright screen.

Ok. Thx for ur info. But can I add another screen protector without peeling off the existing screen protector?
