Hi, I'have a very frustrating issue on my oneplus 7t pro (Mclaren edition). I've experienced sluggishness and less snappy with the response. Screen response feels sluggish.. and third party apps feels slower in response too. For exemple trying to swipe up or down to display menus is taking me multiple times to accomplish. before it would take one swipe either direction. Is there any fix/solution for this? (The nfc is already off)
I'm afraid it's an hardware problem. My phone is 2 days old...

Man! I have the same problem! A McLaren Edition too.
The scroll feels sluggish, and not smooth. I have to repeat gestures multiple times.
Maybe we have some bad devices...

mine too. I thought McLaren edition was the prime handset of Oneplus. it gets sluggish and sometimes if refuses to respond to some apps. 90Hz display doesn't feel as smooth as it is on my friends Oneplus 7T. I respect Oneplus company way too much and I trust them completely. Pls fix this issue

Did a full wipe, and the problem is still there.
Maybe something is wrong with some units...

My McLaren 7T Pro screen response is very smooth / buttery with scrolling and blazingly fast using gestures and swiping between apps and also within third party apps etc.

Mine is a UK model version HD1913 with latest build number Oxygen OS 10.0.04.HD01BA.

I keep my display screen refresh rate always on 90Hz and the resolution fixed on QHD+ mode which is maximum clarity, increased power consumption (3120 x 1440). However, not sure if that makes a difference or not.

Hope you guys get your units sorted or swapped out.
Be interesting to know if its a hardware or software issue affecting some early units.

I have the same spec as you. Nothing different.
Did a full wipe, tried diferent settings and the lag / ghost touches are still there.
Already opened an RMA and my unit will be replaced. Now, lets wait!

Have any of you tried to switch off Auto switch resolution? Also, some apps only runs at 60hz unless you force 90hz for all or use something like "Auto 90" it might be possible you are opening 60hz apps and they open/close animation is only at 60hz and that's why it feels laggy compared to 90.

I've solved all touch problems (Ghost touch, sluggish touch ecc.) by removing the factory screen protector. I searched for a solution for many days and my last attempt (removing the screen protector) worked fine, ALL TOUCH ISSUE HAVE COMPLETELY DISAPPEARED!

I didn't remove it yet as I don't have any new ones yet
