  1. Vamshi kandakatla , via OnePlus 7T Pro , Mar 31, 2021 :
After getting official update of android 11 for OnePlus 7t pro, frequently wifi is getting disconnected. Unstable wifi connection.

If this was issue with router ? Sorry my other phones at home are working fine.

    Need your quick help.

Reset the Wi-Fi network connection -
Go to Settings --> System --> Reset Options --> Reset Wi-Fi, mobile & Bluetooth --> Reset settings

    This should sort your issue

    Sorry it's not working.
WiFi gets disconnected frequently changes from wifi to network and network to wifi.

Getting Annoyed with the frequent WiFi disconnection. I have close to two dozen devices connected to my home network and I don't have disconnection issue with any device other than OnePlus 7T Pro after updating to stable Oxygen 11 build.

This issue does appear widespread. Is there any workaround? Resetting WiFi Network connection won't work in this case.

OnePlus need to look into this. This bug is eating up my data plan and what's the point to have a WiFi at home if I am using my data plan more than half the time.

The most annoying thing is how I'm scared to do financial transactions on my phone because it fails when it keeps switching the network. This bug needs to be fixed ASAP.

I did Google about this and so far my WiFi connectivity is stable.
I had to forget my 5GHz connection and just remain on the 2.4Ghz ...so far so good

No it never worked. I was given 7 different set of steps to troubleshoot this issue by one plus support but none of them worked. I even did the factory reset with complete wipe but no use.

Many users are facing this. If simple steps to sort this are not working then report and hope it'll be fixed in the next version of the update. You can meanwhile roll back to Android 10, to avoid these bugs

Now even the calling feature hangs. Phone rings but doesn't display the call feature. Crazy development !!

When I dial a number it follows ringing and the display turns off and only via speaker you will know that it's calling someone. Nothing on display with calling display options.

#oneplus please look into these issues soon

Thankfully it does. My wifi no longer disconnects randomly.

Just had to forget that 5Ghz connectivity. They better fix this annoying bug.

Same issue here as well with my 7T Pro McLaren edition - Wifi is connected but no internet since no apps or browser works. This has happened after updating my phone to Android 11... Come on OnePlus! You need to get better at the game of updates or else will switch to Samsung who is currently the King of Android updates!!!

Forgetting 5Ghz network has helped with the disconnection issue. But this bug has to be fixed.

Guys , anyone having calling issue ?
Apps running in background like you tube, browser with sounds in background even when all recent apps cleared ?
I get calls but I can't sed the caller name or number , my phone just rings... Same way after disconnecting or attending call the number runs background and doesn't show any display.

#oneplus #support please fix this issue

    it's just frustrating...

    Structure since years:
    - 2 AccessPoints, both 2.4 & 5GHz WiFi
    - when connected Phone shuts down Wi-Fi, connects to other Wi-Fi, shuts down again, connects again, and so on! Interval of shutdowns 10 to 50 Seconds!

The Wi-Fi is stable, connections worked well before w/Android 10, all other Smartphones (LG, SAMSUNG) are doing good - except ONE+ running Android 11!

    Done Workaround:
    - resetting the settings > nothing changes!
    - canceled all connections except ONE > works, but THIS cannot be the solution!!! User has to decide manually WHICH Wi-Fi to use... 🤦🏼‍♂️

In the meantime there should be an urgent solution, 'cause this is NO rare bug on some phones!!!

    plz fix!
