Neue Haas Grotesk is only very slightly different from Helvetica (Neue), thus it can easily make a phone look like an old iPhone.

OnePlus phones have excellent and beautiful design, powerful and reliable hardware. The software department has problems. I'm disappointed with OxygenOS on my OnePlus 7 Pro.

New style, New Oneplus. I bet your designer didn't visit Community forum...

Please at least take a look at yellow marked areas. To help you out, I put some blue guidelines. It just hurts my eyes...

Is that the new idea for branding? To make everything look like rubbish? Oh and that font size that is "adjustable"...

Google has this thing called Search, but the question is how to INSTALL it! You'll need root. How will it look?

I want to ask the OnePlus community a simple question! Are you guys ok with OnePlus releasing polished and better version of the original iteration within months of the launch? I kinda feel let down, cause OnePlus keeps releasing phones every six months!! I have owned the Samsung Galaxy Note series and also the iPhone's!! These phones get updated once a year! I suggest OnePlus too needs to have a similar strategy if they want to retain their customers! Just a piece of my mind !!

No, they are a new company learning everyday. when they get to a point where they are close to or at the same level as the more experienced companies they will probably do once a year. I think twice a year is good because they are still improving on many things
