    Hi everyone,

I'm very excited to announce that our upcoming OnePlus 7T Series will be preloaded with the latest flavor of Android.

We're always pursuing ways to share the latest technology with our Community. We already released Android 10 for the OnePlus 7 and 7 Pro and, we're bringing it to OnePlus 6/6T via our Open Beta program very soon. Our software team is working hard to introduce Android 10 to more OnePlus devices step by step, to learn more about the update schedule, please keep an eye on our London launch event on October 10.

The Android operating system does more than make a smartphone work, it strives to make life easier. Its latest release, Android 10, comes with several new features and tweaks that offer you even more control to customize the device to your specific wants, control your privacy and focus on what is important. Top highlights include:
    • Privacy Controls: Easily find and adjust all your privacy settings in one place so users can decide how and when data on their device is shared.
    • Location Controls: Control when your location is shared with apps: all the time, while in use, or never.
    • Smart Reply: More than suggested responses to your messages, now you can also receive recommended actions. If a friend asks you out to dinner, your phone can pull up directions right in Google Maps; no copy and paste required, and it works across messaging apps.
    • Gesture Navigation: Gestures are now quicker and more intuitive than ever. Go backwards and forwards, pull up the home screen, and swipe up to see your open apps. All super smooth.
    • Dark Theme: Uses true black to keep your battery alive longer and changes how your Google apps look, like Calendar and Photos.
If you want to learn more about these and other features, please check this thread for more information.

    Awesome but kinda expected.

Would love a more true black option for the quick settings.

Still excited to see more info soon. :)

Update of Android 10 for One Plus 6T won't be the stable one? & why by the open beta version. If its the stable one it will be better..!

More than an announcement for 7T series this is a hint for 6/6T users to be patient.
    Android 10 is almost here!

Android 10 for 7series, is what OnePlus do to be on news to get attention for 7T series, and it was just that
to be honest OnePlus just cheat on android 10 to tell that company is the best in software update, we knew that it is but a lot of people out there think about how much faster exactly?!?

this 7series update is just like another beta, not a really stable version, and it's not available for all 7series owner (just like closed beta)

But be alert it won't be the stable version for One Plus 6/6T users like the One Plus 7 series. (we may have to SETTLE! on the open beta version rather than the stable one!)

except currently on Android 10 we have an ugly mix of grey quick settings and black notifications

Yeah, I am not expecting this to be bugs free. But hope this will be good enough to daily drive.

Dude, no one is asking you to use the Open Beta. Just wait a couple of weeks more for the stable. The main reason why OnePlus has the Open Beta running is to ensure the newer builds are stable for the users, and a larger pool of users to test will ensure more thorough testing. No one is forcing you to be a Beta Tester. So don't Settle for Open Beta if you don't want to.
