    I would say it's just a post to calm down the people , if you really want to know the exact realities, I can give you the examples.
    I have logged the tickets long long back, untill I submit the logs I was getting the replies. After I submit the logs no replies from the respective team. I kept quite after asking multiple times for the response. And same getting repeated for latest feedback also.
    Generic Replies:
    When ever we submit a feedback we will get a automatic reply saying,
    1. Steps to share the logs
    2. And where to keep the logs
    3. Attach the screen shot for reference
    This we will get irrespective of the issue reported, for example I have reported issue related to charging and heating issue.
    For heating issues they are asking me to give the screen shot, how is it possible to give the screen shot for heating issue.
    Same question I have asked the respective person 2 weeks back( For heating issue alone), still no response.

    Even there is situations where they have assigned the ticket to different region team and they took more then a 1 month to respond, and after 1 month they gave response saying, mistakenly the ticket assigned to different region. we are re assigning the ticket to correct region again. After that also I didn't get proper response that is a different point again.
    There are many incidents we can keep on adding it to the list.

    No, download the firmware from
    Rename the file if it has .jar in the end. Keep the file name till .zip only.
    Place the file in root directory. Means simple place the file directly in internal storage directory. Not in any folder.
    Then goto Settings -> System -> System Updates -> Local Upgrades
    Select the file from which you have to reinstall the firmware
    Wait for completion
    This does not delete your existing data

    Is there any way to prevent the update notification to the latest Android from appearing. I'm sick of it, it pops up every couple of days and can't disable it... I will upgrade in due time when I choose so not because Android insists on it.Mobdro

    It very much is the only solution. I myself downgraded from to 10.3.8 yesterday and now my phone feels like new. My advice, skip and future updates until OnePlus really fixes the issues properly

    I literally feel Oneplus ruined the Oneplus 7T camera with Android 11. Such an amazing camera module which was working pretty decent till Android 10 is now a trash.
    This is what Oneplus do with older phones!

    Finally downgraded from Android 11 stable update to Android 10 stable update with the help of OnePlus technical support, there's a lot of delay in support as all users are downgrading OS, there's one thing to note, the Android 10 OnePlus technical support guys downgrades is Android 10 with 2019 security patch, luckily I had downloaded the January Android 10 OS with 2021 Jan security patch from OnePlus website before it was replaced with Android 11, I locally updated later,

    Hope OnePlus fixes all the issues soon, else we'll no longer be OnePlus fans!.
