Bravo OnePlus you have become one of the Big boys finally. An Apple, a Samsung... now you can sell phone with a price of 4 digits. I know it's 999$, but you are fooling no one with the 99 tactic. It's a 1000 bucks.

OnePlus was about making awesome phones at an affordable price. And yes I know the Non-Pro version exist. But it still has a high price.

And even now! With the hard times people are facing with money problems do to Covid-19... you show us this prices...

Oxygen is better than stock and nokia has shitty hardware and awful customer service in india. OnePlus hits the sweet spot. They have gone wrong with the pricing this time. That's it.

Also wait for the india prices before jumping ship that is if you are an Oneplus user.

Dude my dad and my brother both own a nokia 6.1 and 6.1 plus respectively. So don't tell me about service center availability. It's the service they give that matters. Plus multiple people I know have also had severe hardware issues with nokia phones. especially the charging port.
And I stay in Bangalore so frankly I just drop into the OnePlus store and they fix things within an hour most of the times. So yeah maybe you might have an issue with service coverage, but the servicing they provide is top notch.

Personally, I think OP knocked it out of the park this time. Even Marques now says it's going to be his new daily driver and that OnePlus "finally has their flagship".
They have two great phones at different price points and based on what I've seen at the launch, I think the advancements from the 7 to the 8, especially in the camera, make this a worthy upgrade...

The S20 series, starts from 75k, OnePlus maxes out at 70k (hopefully) so I don't see the point. Also for the xiao-boys, mi 10 pro launched at a comparable price to OnePlus 8 in the European markets, so expect similar pricing to OnePlus 8 as well.

so you're telling me that you'd rather buy a entry level S20, rather than a top specd OnePlus 8 pro? and that too it comes with Exynos 990 in India, whereas 8 Pro is SD865
