The one plus 8 pro is an unbelievable phone and quite honestly, one of the best choices in the sea of Pro league phones. It has an above average camera, fast display and a fast charge to match, and finally a look that would please anyone who’s a fan of blue! Unfortunately, it’s been sold out, to the best of my knowledge, in the US since the phone was originally announced back in April 15. While the launch day bundle was a very hot sale and understandably sold out within minutes, the next date they were going to come out was April 29, and even that was out just as fast. Trying to even have the opportunity to purchase the phone has been difficult as well, and due the coronavirus, OnePlus, understandably, must be having a very difficult to get the product out to us as well. But now that I’m in the market looking for a new phone, should I consider my options and switch to a different phone than OnePlus? Or is it worth waiting for the 8Pro?

I'm in the same boat. If the 8 pro isn't in stock il when our money comes in this week, my wife and I will be getting s20 Ultras. Just sucks because we both really want the 8 Pro, but when anther company has stock and even the ability to pre-order for the next inventory stock, sometimes you gotta do what needs to be done. I've never had the chance to own a OnePlus even when I HAD an invite for the 1. I even have a cancelled order in my purchase history for the 3 that had a stock issue.

Exactly! The Samsung S20 ultra are on my list too. I use to have a 7pro but due to some personal issues I had to return it. In less than 3 months later they were all sold out and even then, only the black one was available to purchase... only a WEEK ago... it really does suck when the company makes really good phones as well.

I do. However, the out of stock timers are clearly wrong side I was refreshing the store at some points and then checked over there and says out of stock since 4 minutes ago. I fear by the time they come in stock at .net, they'll be gone gone the store in seconds again.

I just joined and it already looks like this question gets asked daily but that is literally why i am here. This feels worse than the Nintendo switch shortage.

Has anyone ever been notified by OnePlus that the phone was back in stock? I have placed 2 notification requests, one a day after the initial device sale (I didn't make it into the early group of purchases). I place another request not long ago. It seems like some folks have been able to purchase phones from the OnePlus website, but this sure seems to be hit or miss. I am disappointed.

eBay there are 2 us sellers of the Chinese version in2025. I purchased and all is fine but when you update the Chinese version it disables the x-ray vision☹️.

besides that all is fine comes with us charging brick.

    Same price as OnePlus website.

    seller is never-msrp

there is another seller in Florida but I bought from the Texas seller.

100% legit I can't vouch for the Florida seller though.

    3 day shipping to California.

I purchased my first OnePlus 8 pro on Amazon but they sold our next day.

What do you mean by Chinese version? They're all made in China.

The connectivity between Chinese version and US version is different. US version supports more bands.

Why did you buy from ebay when you can buy from Amazon at that time... Amazon delisted it tho.

I will speak for him The official phone on Amazon has been out from almost day one. It's still listed on Amazon. He bought from a reseller selling Chinese version which has much-reduced frequency's
