Network/Connectivity OnePlus 8 Pro dropping mobile data

Since received my OnePlus 8 Pro, cellular data is not working properly and keep dropping every few hours.
During initial setup, data connectivity had exclamation mark, so I switched to WiFi connection, after setup completion I checked APNs and found default one was on "WAP" APN which is not correct, I switch default to "IM" to enable 4G data service, but unfortunately it didn't work even after restart. Then deleting "WAP" APN solved the issue temporary, after that 4G (Data Service) start dropping randomly every couple of hours, and only solution to get it back is by restarting the device.

I tried (reset Wi-Fi, mobile & Bluetooth) and tried ( Reset APN ) as well as ( Factor reset ), still having same issue.

Using the device under this condition is impossible.

same problem here, loosing network and mobile data connection randomly, very very disappoting, a flagship phone shouldn't have an issue with it's core functionality, that is, making a phone call and use mobile data
i will return my unit, for more than 950€ (i'm from austria) for this flagship this is simply unacceptable
i've have read in the forum that this problem exists since April/May and it doesn't look like that there is a fix
i bought my phone 1 week ago....

So here's what happened to me. I bought my prized possession, OP8 Pro 12/256, couple of days back. Switching between WiFi and 4G was effortless until today when my data died on me. Whatever I tried didn't help. Finally I removed both my SIM and tried running on one SIM when the 4G started working suddenly! Now I'm running with one SIM while the other is in my wallet [e]1f602[/e]!

Did this work for any of you?

    I bought oneplus 8pro June 18 2020
since the beginning, I had trouble using mobile data.
I have contacted the chat support multiple times.
Each time I am told to reset the Wifi, mobile and Bluetooth settings and to switch the SIM card slot. The procedure works and the data starts working for some time and then stops again. I have done the above 5 times in the last one week and today the data is not working again.
    So far no solution

I'm sorry that it didn't work for you. But isn't anyone at One Plus actually aware of this at all, I'm wondering.

If you're experiencing intermittent mobile data loss, meaning the cell bars are gone and you have no texting, calls, or internet ability, other then wifi and if you bought the phone directly from Oneplus, you need to make sure that the sim card is 1. a VOLTE and 2. that the CDMA-LESS (assists in network provisioning) is activated by the carrier. Reach out to the carrier and this will fix it. Even if your cellphone started off working and weeks or a month later you begin to experience this issue, call the carrier and make sure the 1. and 2. are both true.
