    Hello,
I've recently purchased OnePlus 8 Pro 12/256GB and after few days found I feel eyes strain, fatigue and headache while looking at its display.
No matter which refresh rate, resolution, color calibration I use.
120hz refresh rate seems to be even worse than 60hz in terms of eyes strain.
DC dimming doesn't seem to help. I'm not sure if it changes anything at all. Only color tone becomes slightly different.
My previous OnePlus 6T works just fine. Its display is perfect in terms of eyes comfort.
OnePlus, can you please help me to solve the issue with OnePlus 8 Pro? Some firmware update?

Don't think the display is the issue, well in general displays aren't that great for the eyes, but I feel that you're eyes are more sensitive, personally don't have any issue. Did you try using night mode to see if its better to the eyes?I always use this option at night, its better for my eyes.

Over last few weeks I've got used to the new display. So its flickering is no longer a big issue. Moreover, I've tested it with a pulse meter, and it turns out that 8 Pro has even better display than 6T in terms of flickering. Don't know why I feel the 6T's display is more comfortable for eyes.
Anyways, OLED displays are not as good for eyes as they should be. Don't know if it is only OnePlus issue or this is the case for all phone manufacturers. Hope some day we'll get true flicker free OLED.

It's the hardware problem and the display is too bright.

Has anyone found a solution to the eye strain problem. I had an old iphone 7 before OnePlus and it was so much easier on my eyes. I find my eyes hurting with a headache a few minutes after I look at my oneplus 8T plus. I really thought the bigger screen makes it easier on my eyes but it was completely the opposite. Has anyone found a solution?
