It's a total mystery. Have the switches in LogKit enabled, but nothing at all still. Perhaps it's just a temporary issue and will resolve itself. I had my OnePlus 6 long enough without VoLTE and VoWiFI not working and never missed it, so I'm not too concerned. Just wish I could test the 5G, but no chance of it coming to a town near me anytime soon on Three :-(

Yeah, baffling! Will give it some time to resolve, I'd hate to have to return the phone if I thought it was faulty :(

@dazkgoodwin what model do you have?
As my scenario is exactly the same as yours, on 3 same greyed out switches, no VoLTE even though I am on 10.5.5 and followed the logkit instructions.

However I have an IN2020 model from wondamobile, though I am in Manchester UK, maybe that makes a diff??

Anyone want to chime in with their models, also I am on the BA (EU) firmware

My model is IN2023 - not sure what the different models signify. My OS is 10.5.5.IN11BA - is there different firmware/OS for the OnePlus 8 Pro in the UK?

My OnePlus 8 Pro was direct from OnePlus - had it 2 wks (pop-shop early buyer)

So yeah, BA is the EU firmware, AA is the worldwide firmware and there's another, (I can't recall the letters) but that is Indian firmware.

IN2020 is the Chinese HW model, IN2023 is the international variant and there's IN2025 which again I can't recall what region that is from.

So essentially I have a Chinese model flashed with EU firmware, but since you have the international model yet same issues, it leads me to believe it is a fault with 3 or their towers, however there is @chistery who has theirs working fine on 3, so I'm at a loss tbh

I'm assuming those with normal Three 4G SIMs don't need to upgrade theirs? there's not a 5G specific SIM is there?

Neither do I but I'm trying to find any other possible reasons as to why.
I have their 5G ready pay monthly SIM, which I ordered specifically for the 8 Pro a week ago, so brand new everything in a location which I know has VoLTE as when I shoved my SIM in my 6T (it arrived well before my 8 Pro), it shows up and works as it should.

No there is not, according to 3 all their SIMs are 5g ready: http://www.three.co.uk/5g

On a live chat with Three - they suggested updated my phone software (already done), and turning on VoLTE (and how do i do that if the slide switch is not there?!). I'm still on hold to see what they say. It would be less frustrating if I knew if the issue was with the device, or with Three and they need to push an update to the phone to enable VoLTE and VoWiFi. Someone must have the answer. If it's not resolved it looks like I'll be sending the phone back and going back to the OnePlus 6

Have you got access to another SIM on a different network to see if it works?

Yes it does support it. But I think it doesn't support this phone. With 5g it's the same story. I think I will return it as I can't use this phone at it's full potential.
