someone tell me why whenever yesterday whenever this phone came out, I watched a whole lot about and considered upgrading from my 7 Pro Almond, I went throughout the day and my friend noticed that the camera came up and asked what it was. I told him but as soon as I turned my phone around I found a crack, I have no idea how it got there. I have a case on it and I don't remember ever dropping it but now it's worth less at trade in value. I think I'll just wait for the 8t pro to come out so I can trade it in, but now I have an broken back piece and I don't know where I could fix it.

So the hole in the screen returns. The main benefit of 7pro is no longer here which makes 8 pro perfectly skipable

I just think they didn't anticipate the volume for this thing with the goodies they gave. personally I'm glad they did something but would have bought either way. as far as colors and storages for USA I think they screwed up. personally wanted green 12/256 plus only giving carriers the 8 regular 5G was a poor call bc many rely on upgrades but maybe there's something I don't know

    I don't understand what's the point with these Op8
If i want other colors than black i have to buy the most expensive version 799€ for Op8 and 999 for Op8 pro.
Oneplus deceive me. I was plan to change my Op 6 i bought 638€.
I have a good experience with Op, with OxygenOs. Now i don't know what to do.
What is the new flagship killer in 2020??

I am actually curious what was the point of releasing a 1000$/EUR handset during Covid outbreak.
Either the supply is such small that they expect to sell it at premium only to hardcore OP brand fans and it should hit their expected target or they just missed with the price at launch.
Because of the Covid all premium phones will receive a huge sales hit - people are now in general spending less, traveling less, taking less photos, looking forward financially to the future and preparing financial cushion for upcoming months/year.

At least OnePlus could capitalize and adjust price to be more user/corona friendly since the times is going to be harder not easier in the short upcoming future.
I guess we will never know.

you could be right..they must be just eyeing to sell this to the diehard OnePlus users... people who are willing to shell out that many dollars...
waiting to see what will be the pricing of these devices for the Indian market

Sunning phone which can give great competition to Samsung S20 series. But that annoying punch hole camera is a deal breaker for me.
Why get rid off a true full screen display? Just to reduce the weight by 7 grams!
