I tried searching with "video issues" and got nothing. title says it all. when I use the Google News app the video will not play. i also use the CBSN app and live news won't play. never had this with other Android devices. help.
pathtologos , via OnePlus 8 T-Mobile , Jun 6, 2020 : figured it out. if the "Vibrant Color Effect" setting is enabled, the news videos don't play right. especially noticeable on the CBSN app. hope this helps someone.
I1594964486466 , Jul 17, 2020 : Thank you! I had many apps that would not play. Previous problems (w/other phones) taught me that the issue is usually some setting that is turned on/off. You saved me a lot of time and it worked.

Now I can get rid of the old one! I have been reading all sorts of forums and nobody had an answer until you! So thank you much!!
D1612058404488 , Mar 1, 2021 : I found that disabling the Video Enhancer setting in the Display, Scenes section did the trick. Can still keep the screen in the Vivid, Natural and Advanced modes. Thanks for the above replies...I looked around at different options and found that this one works.
