    2023 or later?

He seems awfully interested in knowing if his phone supports it.

Let him go out and ask his provider for one :D

Does your network support 5G? Are you on a 5G plan? Which bands does your network use? Does the 8T have those bands?

Yeah "Drei" do Support 5G. i have it in my contract. N78 is the Band from the Network and OP8T can support N78.

But OP dont Support any Network here. That's a shame. they said one year ago there will come an Update...
still not here. Since one year and 650€ i can't use it.

This was my last OnePlus Device. Never again after this.

That last sentence is pretty useless as a response to my questions, as I'm trying to help you.
    Anyways, try this:
Download an app called 5G switch by Sladjan from the play store
Open the app, method one, select this under preferred network type:

Make sure you do not restart your device after this. Does the 5G option appear now?
I'm only suggesting this because it has helped some people here.

Ah. But did you have the 5G option before doing this as well?
Also, have you considered testing your SIM on another 5G compatible device in your house?

Usage of 5G depends on the provider!

Genau so wie in Deutschland, England, sonstwo!

    Shame on your provider!
