The fingerprint sensor on my new brand new OnePlus 8T fails most of the times.
I have delete the fingerprint profile, added new ones and the sensos even struggles to recognized my fingerprint every time, different fingers, clean screen. Some other users reported the same issue, I just switched from my 7T and have not had any issues with the fingerprint sensor in 7T.
I may have to RMA it to make sure is not a hardware issue.
