    Hello.

Today I noticed that, after the 30s I've configured, my phone does not switch of the screen. This only happens when it is on the title screen. When I leave the phone idle in an app, it suspends normally after the programed time.

    Can someone help?

I've tried something just right now, I switched off the double tap to lock option, and now the screen is turning of as expected. I assume it is some kind of bug, but it's not acceptable that you have to choose between these two functions.

I have double tap to lock/unlock enabled and screen turns off after my set time (30 seconds).
What OOS update are you on? Try to update to latest version 11.0.11.11 and then check again.
Also try a simple launcher Cache/Storage reset then restart the device and report please of thay helps or not.

    I'm in 11.0.10.10
I tried the cache wipe and for now it seems to have solved the issue, but let's see for how long.

Yes that's the latest update. Before installing new update always make sure to read comments in update thread to know if the update has any serious bugs.

Today I found the origin of the issue and its related to the Instagram app. If you're watching a video on the Instagram feed and then minimize the app, the phone does not suspend the screen. I assume the phone "thinks" the video is still playing and does not suspend dlthe screen. I reported this to OP

This is really interesting, is this a OP issue, an Instagram issue or an Android issue? Does this also happen with other applications that can play video? E.g. Facebook, Twitter or even Netflix? I replicated it with Instagram, but Twitter went to sleep immediately. So it's probably an Instagram issue.
