I'm having issue with the USB-C Headphones. Headphones is getting detected but not able to listen to audio through it. Sound is coming only through speakers. I've tried all methods posted in the community ie(OTG & USB Audio) they're not working. Tried restarting many times no change. I'm currently using Oxygen OS version 11.0.8.14. I guess it's some software issue someone please help me with a solution.

When you go to the Volume settings, does it show the Type C headphones as an available output?

No it doesn't show as an available output device, but the headphones icon on the top is available

    Hey there.

It could be a software bug, as you speculate too. Looks like you haven't updated to the latest OS or haven't yet received the recent update. Kindly try updating whenever available to see if solves the issue.

The new update began rolling out last Wednesday. It's still rolling out to the IN users as we speak. Kindly check out the following link for more info. If you are an IN user, then the latest OS version available is 11.0.9.9.

I am not sure what other potential solutions could help you there. Since you mention that it was working well until now, I assume it could be a potential software bug caused by something unknown. My belief is that the new update could fix that unknown bug. In the mean time you can be using a pair of wireless headsets if possible.

I think you should try Oxygen updater.
It should be available now as the latest updates are already released for India as well.
