Wait for the next OTA update to arrive. I've seen a few users reporting the same issue after updating to the latest version. Going by the pattern, the update should be just around the corner now.

The missing Widevine DRM Level 1 (L1) certificate which is required by all major content streaming platforms for HD streaming. But even if your phone has DRM L1 certificate, there are chances that it doesn’t support HD streaming on Netflix or Prime Video.

That’s because apart from DRM L1 certificate, additional approval by services like Netflix and Amazon Prime is also required for HD streaming. Devices that aren’t acknowledged by Netflix won’t support HD streaming even if they have DRM L1 certificate.

I had a similar problem and this was fixed in the latest OTA.
I had to wipe cache in recovery and cache for netflix and the drm info app to see it though. Try the same.

    Try this:
    • In the Google PlayStore: settings -> biometric authentication -> enable, if disabled (enter password if needed)
    • Then reboot the phone once and check the Widevine Status -> use DRM Info App from Google PlayStore (check some minutes or hours later, if still a wrong status) -> it should be L1 then
    • Netflix still SD? Clear cache and data of Netflix and uninstall updates, then reboot and update Netflix -> after this check playback specification again
