I really like my OnePlus 8T So I decided to get the OnePlus 9 5G.. I feel like I've downgraded and am not using a flagship phone. I can't even update to android 12 without it not being able to make a data connection or recognize a sim card has been inserted. So I'm stuck with a flagship phone that won't update. Ive tried all the 12 updates but none have worked. Using the rollback method from OnePlus I had to go back to Android 11 5 times now, but the method used also changed my phone to LE2117 when it was originally LE2115. I don't even have an option for 5G in my Settings.

Did you perform a factory reset after the OxygenOS 12 Update?
Did you rollback to the correct OxygenOS 11 version (region)?

I guess there is an Android 12 update out now but it is for NA LE2115. Which is what my phone was before I rolled back. Now it's EU LE2117 and there is no update for that one

From reading posts I saw there was an incremental OTA update of Android 12 that is NA LE2115_11_C.40. I don't have the option to try it though because my phone is now LE2117 and EU version now, it was NA and LE2115

I haven't seen the option to download it. Do you have a link? My Oxygen Updater shows 11.2.10.10 LE25BA as my available update for Stable my system update In Phone settings says no update is available.

So this is the first opportunity I've had to download and try this update I was worried it was going to not work and I'll have to take four or five hours to get everything sorted again but anyways I'm downloading the update right now and the latest one that it's going to roll me back to is all the way to October to downgrade me to hopefully back to NA version of LE2115 hopefully have the option to update to the stable version with the data fix and the SIM card fix for Android 12 I will let you know what happens hope it's not a waste of time again thanks for all your help everybody

Well I went for it. To no avail. After updating it won't pick up my sim card. I reset the phone a couple times after installing the update c.36 and C.40 for a brief moment it read my sim card, but stopped. The data symbol on the pull down is blacked out and doesn't do anything. If I go into settings and click on mobile data it doesn't do anything, right away, after clicking it a couple times about 15-20 seconds after it will go into the mobile data section in settings but then completely close everything and I'm back on my home screen.. my phone was LE2115 when I was on 12, but now after downgrading with the link suggested my phone is back to LE2117. This is getting old, android 12 looks really cool, but I feel like I'm not going to get to enjoy it on this phone (OnePlus 9) all I see now is ads and promotions for the OnePlus 10, so the 9 is probably going to be put on a back burner. I like these phones, but I want to have the newest programming like everyone else. I'm doing everything right on my end so I don't see what the problem is.
