I've seen posts about 5g not working on Rogers and suggesting *#*#4636#*#*.

I'm using Beta 12 and using the code above just blanks out from the dialer and won't open the network settings? Any thoughts on how to access the settings? I'd love to get 5g as I've just upgraded to 50GB /m.

This may or may not work on OOS 12 as it has the ColorOS codebase. It's an app that does the same thing as the code you enter but through the app gui.

This is a workaround. If it works, you will have to Apply these settings again 🔸Each time you Restart the phone. 🔸

This App is available on the Playstore. It may or may not work and it may depend on your Network provider.
⚡You must have an existing 5G plan with your mobile network provider. ⚡

Dude you are like my hero! That was the fastest way to implement 5g on the LE2125 ever! Im on Rogers in Canada and they always told me it wouldn't work. And after android 12 update it bricked the #*#*4636*#*# code. Thanks again! If you know how to enable dual sim on the LE2125, you'd be the most legit mofo I know lol

Glad to hear you got it working 👍, just remember you do have to reapply the settings each time the phone restarts.

As for Dual Sim. I have done a search at XDA and while some have had success others have borked their phones. So it may be something you need to research further into before attempting to try it. It is a risky procedure by the looks of it.

Here is the info I found on it.

Yeah I've seen these ones but no proper guide yet so a bit nervous to try 😂

Hopefully something will come soon!; Thanks again

Yeah, you can see where at least one phone got bricked, editing the props. It sort of makes sense, given that the LE2125 (I'm global as well) doesn't come with a 2nd-SIM tray, that they might make this inherently "difficult", for a variety of reasons (possibly/probably legal ones, related to licensing).
I bet OP isn't very keen on helping out here, if you do brick, doing this...

Yeah i cant imagine they'd be too helpful. I have a dual sim tray that I bought online and have a second active sim in the backside. Doesnt register without any mods.

Still unsure if I still want to try...

Yeah, I probably wouldn't do this, particularly at this stage of things. Part of it is probably how comfortable one is, with using ROM-flash tools (for FULL recovery), in case something goes awry...
It kinda' comes down to how compelling your use-case is, for dual-SIM, I suppose.

I tried this and app opens correctly the "Phone Info" windows.
So I can set "NR/LTE/TDSCDMA/GSM/WCDMA" but app didn't apply the setting and I permain in 4g :(

Like I said it may or may not work.

Check this suggestion from @smeagel. It may also work on OOS 11 as well as OOS 12

All I could suggest beyond that is to maybe contact Rogers and see iglf they can whitelist your phone model for 5G. Other than that you would have to contact OnePlus via feedback and support I am afraid.
I'll tag a Mod @cdnfarmer, as she is Canadian and see if she has more info on the Canadian 5G networks.

Glad you found a solution, not sure why that would be though.
