A little disappointing review for expectations. Maybe the software is not up to date, but before I spend more than 900 euros I'll think about it.

Well seeing as a lot of people can't actually look at pictures themselves and decide I guess?

Exactly. I'd rather check more detailed camera comparisons on the YouTube, tbh. Or even better, use the camera comparison tool on gsmarena. Gives a good enough representation of real life images, and I can compare any device I want to. DXO Mark seems a bit more "artificial", and very often, I disagree with their ratings, atleast based on the images they put in their reviews. I don't even care about what youtubers say, instead I focus on the images and see if I like it.

Indeed, "technically" a picture can look great, but practically like crap... and viceversa

I do something else by trade and to evaluate a smartphone I have to be able to refer to all available opinions. Even dxomark can and must have its say, it is always a useful opinion, even more so if it is critical. I think that oneplus 9 pro has great potential, but it must be adequately supported with great efforts on the software side, otherwise the hardware will never be properly exploited and in hand it will remain a beautiful unexpressed object paid for at a high price.

I still have an OPO that works very well (despite my old "signature"), an OP6 that works even better and to replace the latter I will be very demanding with Oneplus

The main and ultra-wide cam is good, but just not as good as its competition or GCAM. LOL~
The Tele lens of Oneplus is just POOR
I like the additional black/white sensor. It delivers good result even under low-light environment.

And WHEN WILL PRO-MODE READY FOR THE REAR CAM ?
