OnePlus 9 Pro OR Samsung S21 Ultra - priced basically the same

Big Oneplus fan, always have been since the OP1. The OP9, with reviews, seems like a big disappointment given price. It is priced basically the same ($30 difference, NBD) to the S21 Ultra. Issues from screen stutter (Dave2D) to bad keyboard (MrMobile), it almost doesn't even seem like a flagship with all these bugs. I'd be fine with minor issues if I was getting a discount, but I'm not really getting a discount anymore. Never owned a Samsung before. Is it time to jump off the OP bandwagon?

It's a toss up , Samsung has the track record at their back.
    Otherwise it's your choice.

I think the only thing going good with 9pro is that S21 Ultra is priced significantly higher. (In India difference>$250)
Yes reviews didn't seem good because the marketing was too aggressive and the hype didn't live well, but having said that it's still a better purchase than S21 Ultra imo.

I guess S21 Ultra is the obvious choice then!

Even their software updates are on point now. My M30s (mid range samsung) received stable Android 11 before OnePlus 7 :')

That is not the 256gb version.
Also, the Samsung does not come with a charger, you need to add that

Bro I would strongly suggest you to get Samsung if the price difference is alright for you. You are certainly not getting value for money with the latest oneplus device. Samsung is way ahead bro. DON'T BE ONE OF THE DUMB FANBOYS LIKE APPLE FANBOYS.

I have the S21 Ultra 5G. A lot of Samsung bloat but it doesn't bother me anymore.

Traded in my Samsung Note10+ for $550 and they gave like $200 credit for Samsung accessories (Samsung Watch, Ear buds, smart tage, cases, charger brick, etc), so I guess at the end it was worth it. And they've become really good with the monthly security updates. I've been making some fake complaints to Samsung Support and they've been throwing me some promo codes like I had a gun to their heads.
