The software is so sloppy. So much lag and freezing during the day. Most of the apps freeze. The phone crashes. Resets by it self. This will be the last OnePlus I'll own.

I have a 9 pro and I do not face any of those issues.
I suggest you to do a factory reset, start as a new device (do not restore previus configurations) and check the apps that you install

Same here no issues, no lag and curiously mine doesn't overheat either. I guess I got a good one!

If you r using the India variant, overheating is a major issue. And the lags are happening due to optimization done by oneplus. U need to use Yr phone with multiple restrictions which in no works works like a flagship performance. The. Lag is universal for all 9 pro variants. Wait for 12 for some resolution.

I owned 3T, now 9pro... Both having heating issue.. Appreciate you're a die-hard fan of one plus, but that doesn't stop the hardware from becoming a scrap.

Last week in a family function, while recording 8k video, it stopped saying camera overheating issue. What else can shame us in front of guest when you're helpless with dead machine?? The whole purpose of this phone is to capture priceless moments, now it's worthless device that registered bad memories for life

I have had a 7 pro and now 9 Pro. Neither had or have any overheating issues.

Your recording 8k video. It's extremely power intensive. Thus it overheats. There is simply no reason to use 8k video recording unless your a professional videographer. If you were you wouldn't be using a mobile phone to capture "priceless memories".

What's the common denominator here? You and how you use your phone.

Regardless of what we do the phone goes up to 47°C.

You shouldn't dictate what an user should do with 12GB phone... If it is not capable of delivering promises, then why the hell OnePlus make such scraps???

I like the speed of SD888 but poorly managed threads making this hardware a junkyard scrap!!

If you are not getting issue doesn't mean that the product is flawless!!

Deniability doesn't mean it's not an issue. Who the hell r u to say I am speading rumours. It a hardware issue and not resolvable. Not being able to accept that phone is not fine. Happens.

All variants of 9 pro are with multiple issue in the name optimization. Just downgraded to 11.2.4.4. magically charging speed is now 28 min!!!. 8.8 has huge optimization done across the os to control heating.
