_ityadi , via OnePlus 9 Pro , Apr 7, 2021 : How do I move the shelf back to the left most home page. Current it works by swiping down but I don't like it so I have disabled it. But now I can not access the shelf. Please help.
Tokolozi , Apr 7, 2021 : No way to do it currently. You can submit feedback, via the feedback section of the community app.
the_o2 , Apr 8, 2021 : I will use if it available in normal way. If you are switching from old OnePlus device you will definitely miss it.
Rodney33 , Apr 26, 2021 : Coming from a OnePlus 7 Pro to the 9 Pro, the shelf is super useful on the left side and I think there is no logical reason to remove this option. Please enable "Swipe right from home screen to access Shelf" again!
fabiozib , Apr 26, 2021 : Fully agree, I came from oneplus 6 and was using the left shelf with widget and shortcut intensively. Now there is the useless (for me) google stuff.....
O1572977455588 , Apr 27, 2021 : I'm having the same issue coming from OP5T . Shelf was useful (and usable) at the left of home screen. Also it was very useful to access notification panel when swiping down from the middle of the screen, since these are big screen phones. Now you have to chose one of those.
fabiozib , via OnePlus 9 , Apr 27, 2021 : I FOUND IT! It is not anymore on the left. You need to swipe down from the tip BUT starting a bit belo9the line where you swipe down to see the notifications and action buttons (wifi, data....) In the screen shot I put in yellow where you need to start swiping down approximately.

NShankaraN , via OnePlus 9 Pro Stellar Black , May 18, 2021 : Moved from OP5 to 9 series and Swipe down to access either Shelf OR Notifications+quick settings is bit annoying. I was using Shelf available in leftmost section of homescreen extensively in OP5 and Swipe down option for Notifications. The Google feed can be accessed in the home page itself on clicking the G button on the Google search widget I have given the feedback and hopefully this option will be made available again
[email protected] , via OnePlus 9R , May 18, 2021 : I was also liking the position of shelf at left side, in swipe down it's difficult to get notification or shelf sometimes.
tiagorego21 , May 25, 2021 : One suggestion that may be easier to implement should be being able to configure the shelf opening with 2 finger swipe down. The most annoying part of the new location is the fact that people are used to go to notification panel without having to swipe from all the way up in the screen which is a pain in the *** with phones of this size. 2 finger swipe down would be an acceptable workaround once it's not possible to put it back to the swipe right position.
niamor96 , Jun 9, 2021 : Same here. Need scroll down to get access to quick settings and notification (screen size is to high. And accessing notifications and quick settings with scroll down is just what we all need (that's something that's impossible with other OS. And it's a great feature !) So why don't you let us the ability to access shelf on the left scroll ? I'm pretty sure that it's not a big affair and you could simply patch this on a update and let user choose what they want. (That's one big observation I had when I started using my brand new OP9 : The OS goes on a diet. There's less fonctionality, less options, less customization than before (on my 6T) A bit confused and annoyed...
aftabalam8c1 , via OnePlus 9 Pro , Jun 11, 2021 : One plus has changed the way we access shelf. They should provide option to access it through swiping left and we can change google with self. One plus plz make it switchable
L1545439316760 , via OnePlus 9 , Jun 13, 2021 : I moved from op5 to op9 and shelf settings are not so friendly, what's the use of Google news in the left shelf from Home screen? Better to have the same like op5, why can't the software be updated like this, when the new technology is going forward what's the use if its not friendly to the user
