    Nothing happens when you swipe down? Just to check, but do the gaming tools come down when you swipe down? Or do you have an arrow in the middle of the status bar?

    When I swipe down the status bar comes down, but if I swipe down in the top right corner nothing happens, and also the status bar doesn't come down

    Oh, okay. You could try clearing cache of the launcher and clear the storage data for the shelf and reboot the phone afterwards

    Okay, you can follow this thread if you want to install the update yourself. The local upgrade option to install updates yourself is gone in Oxygen OS 12 and that thread explains the steps on how users can still install updates themselves with the use of an apk (apk is linked in the thread as well) and the Oxygen Updater app from the play store
