AbhayGill017 , via OnePlus 9R , Nov 1, 2021 : On 8th Oct I availed for OnePlus's pickup service to Repair my OnePlus 9R which wouldn't turn on. On 9th Oct it was supposed to be picked up by bluedart but the guy didn't came. The Bluedart guy finally came on 12th Oct picked up my device. The device got delivered to a service center in Bangalore on 14th Oct. The device took 12 days to get accepted by engineer and finally on 28th the repair completed and then got dispatched on 29th. The engineer replaced the mainboard on my device which changed serial number and IMEI numbers. And Today:- So I just got my OnePlus 9R back from repair and turns out it's fingerprint sensor doesn't work at all now. I tried doing a restart, a factory reset, cleared cache nothing helped. I want a replacement for my device as I waited for more than 20 days to get my device back. I thought of giving it back for repair but the pickup service isn't there anymore and service center from my house is pretty far. It would be a great help if some executive helps me to get a replacement as the service center guy borked the fingerprint sensor and widevine L1 on my 9R.

YRJ , Nov 1, 2021 : No executive here, but mods can help escalate your case. I see you've already tagged camohan so he will be able to chase it. But before that, have you notified cs that the fingerprint sensor doesn't work post repair?

YRJ , Nov 1, 2021 : I would suggest you to allow cs an opportunity to reply before you request for the case to be escalated. If you receive an unsatisfactory reply or cs doesn't seem helpful camohan can help you.
AbhayGill017 , via OnePlus 9R , Nov 2, 2021 : CS told me to send device for repair next week as the pickup service option won't be available for this week, although when I asked them for replacement they just straight up replied that only service engineer can avail for device replacement 🥲😐. Funny thing is that the engineer took 1 day for quality check and still gave device with broken fingerprint sensor 😐.
YRJ , Nov 2, 2021 : I can understand how stressful this must be, but I would give them one last chance to fix the mess. And yes, they are right. Only the service engineer can apply for replacement after evaluating the device. So you will have to send it in for inspection anyway. If you still receive a broken device after second round of repairs you can ping a mod to escalate
AbhayGill017 , via OnePlus 9R , Nov 2, 2021 : The whole process took a lot of time:- 3 days for pickup. 2 days for delivery to sc. 12 days for acceptance. 2 days for repair. 1 day for quality check. 1 day for dispatchment. 2 days for delivery again. The *12 days for acceptance* was useless af, a normal service center (Samsung, apple etc.) repairs device within a week in 12 days my device should have been delivered to me but OnePlus Bangalore SC f*cked up.
YRJ , Nov 2, 2021 : Would it be possible for you to make a trip to the SC? I understand it isn't exactly convenient but would be a lot faster.

AbhayGill017 , via OnePlus 8 , Dec 8, 2021 : Got my device back with fod fixed but there's a front cam issue now :- It seems someone has tampered with the front cam lens and forgot to clean it 😐 Seriously tho I don't wanna send my device back again for the 3rd time. Everytime it comes from the service center something is f*cked up
