It's unlikely that your post will be true. Maybe, Oppo and OnePlus may not pitch their devices against each other, and sell only one of the devices in a region. It's unfair to compare wearables with smartphones, as most of the wearables in a given price range offer similar designs and features, while smartphones in a price range may vary significantly. Also, joining hands in R&D does not mean the products will be same. Maybe, Oppo may offer a feature first to see the customers' response to it, and then after improving it accordingly, OnePlus may offer it in a later generation, or may not offer it at all. Not every technology created by an R&D team reaches one or more end products. It is often scrapped, or used only in concept devices. Until more information is available, it's better not to make speculative statements.
