OnePlus buds pro beeping when I place the buds in case via OnePlus 9 Pro

    Hi OnePlus buds pro users, recently I purchased the OnePlus buds pro I'm happy with the product and sound , but from few days I notice that I hear a beep sound similar to find my buds when I place my buds in the case I just wanted to know if any of OnePlus buds pro users are facing the same issue or is it common in TWS as I'm new yo this tws

    Hey there.

    Kindly try resetting the Buds Pro. Also, ensure that you have the latest version (Version 1.3.7) of the OnePlus Buds app installed together with an updated firmware.

    You can get it check at a service/repair center too. Does the beep-like sound occur when your buds are disconnect from the phone?

    I would advise you to get it check at the service center. It is possible that a hardware fault exists in them.

    @OP I've had the same issue for a while, possibly around the same time you posted this. Did you find a solution from support/service center? I'd prefer not to ship my earbuds away for however long it takes to fix, if the issue was resolved with firmware or settings or something.

    Hey guys, I bought the buds a week ago and I noticed that they make that beep when I switch from one to the other or when I put them in the case. I tried to figure out why is this happening and finally I found out. you should wait when the green light goes away after everything you do with the case for example: when you have one in your ear and want to switch it with the one in the case you open the case take the one in it and (wait for the green light to go away) then put it in the charging place and wait for it to go away (again) then close the case. I think it's a kind of warning that you are giving the buds too much electricity as you do all the actions rapidly so I think that the beeping sound is a safety indicator.

    The beep is not a warning for power, it's either a hardware fault or a bug. I've had it at least once (and seen questions other places) while taking one out of my ear. It's loud enough that it was probably somewhat damaging permanently. If it was in any way an intentional feature, being that loud would be a major safety hazard.

    It doesn't do that while it's in my ear It does it when it's in the case so is it a defect or is it a common bug ?

    I have been experiencing this same issue with my buds too. Every time I switch from one bud to another placing it on the case it starts to beep and sometimes it gets stuck with this beeping sound until I open the case lid. This is like my third buds pro replacement because the other had different issues. Now I'm wondering if I had to hassle again with support to have another replacement. Maybe this could be fixed with an update or something else? Everything else seems to be working as it should be this is kinda annoying.

    Mine got resolved and it usually happens when there is mismatch in the contact points touching eachother

    What version does your buds have currently? Mine have the 531.531.510 and still facing this problem.
