    Hey there,

    Kindly follow this path to check the OnePlus Buds app version:
    • Settings app > Apps & notifications > tap on 'See all 74 apps' (number will vary) > Scroll down to find 'OnePlus Buds' and tap on it > Advanced > Scroll down to the end of page and you should see something like 'version 1.3.7'.
    OR​
    • Go to Play Store > Search for OnePlus Buds and select the one with OnePlus Ltd as developer > Select 'About this app' > Scroll down to the bottom to see the version of the app.
    Kindly follow this path to check the firmware's version:
    • (Make sure to turn on Bluetooth) Settings app > Bluetooth & Device Connection > Bluetooth > Tap on the settings (gear icon) besides OnePlus Buds Pro under Previously Connected Devices section > Headphones > You should see the firmware version as 'Current version: 467.467.400' under the Auto-update firmware option.

    Hey there,

    For the OnePlus Buds app, you can use the following link to update to the latest version from Play Store:
    For the latest firmware update, turn on the auto-update firmware option and it'll automatically update to the latest version. Do note that this can take time since it's an automatic process. More details about the latest firmware update can be found in the following link:
    If the update doesn't fix the left earbud issue, performing a reset can help.

    The Play store is saying my phone isn't compatible with the app. Are there any alternatives? I have a 7TPro McClaren.

    Yes, it that has been the case with a couple of users, especially with T-Mobile users. You can download the HeyMelody app as an alternative. It has all the functions as the OnePlus Buds app, thus good to go. Link below to download the app from Play Store:
